J.R. Richardson

Mr. J.R. Richardson has over 35 years of distinguished service as a federal contracting officer.

Throughout his extensive career, Mr. Richardson served in positions of increasing responsibility, from the field level to Army Contracting Command, to include: Division Chief, Communication Electronics Command, Information System Command, Fort Huachuca, AZ; Director of Contracting, Omaha District, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha, NE; Director of Contracting, Huntsville Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville, AL; and Director of Contracting, Mission Installation and Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Bliss, TX.

Mr. Richardson’s distinguished career culminated as Director of Contracting Operations, Headquarters, Army Contracting Command. In this role Mr. Richardson was responsible for a global mission to deliver over $50 billion in goods and services to the Warfighter, annually.

J.R. is a native of Pine Hill, Alabama. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Stillman College, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in 1980. Mr. Richardson has one daughter, Shandon Richardson, who lives in Austin, TX. Mr. Richardson’s hobbies are fishing, grilling, and playing golf.
