Richard Kidd IV

Mr. Kidd has over 35 years of distinguished service, including as a Senior Executive in three different departments of the federal government.

Most recently Mr. Kidd was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Environment & Energy Resilience. In this role he provided policy direction, budget oversight and management for all DoD programs and activities related to climate change, compliance with environmental laws, prevention of pollution, management of natural and cultural resources, cleanup of contaminated sites, energy resilience, to include renewable energy and risk mitigation.

Richard is a native of Forest Grove, Oregon. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in the Untied States Military Academy and a Masters of Public and Private Management from Yale School of Management.
